Who we are looking for

Hydroleap is seeking an experienced Process & Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving Hydroleap's proprietary designs, developing and optimizing water treatment processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.

As a Process & Design Engineer, you will have a strong technical background in process & design engineering, and a demonstrated ability to lead and drive improvements.

What you will be doing

  • Improve the mechanical design of Hydroleap's proprietary designs.
  • Analyze current processes, designs and identify areas for improvement and develop plans to optimize processes.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including piping and instrumentation drawings (P&ID), process flow diagrams (PFD), factory acceptance test procedures (FAT), Operation and Maintenance Manuals (OMM) etc.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production teams to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Business Development, Operations and suppliers to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in process engineering and apply them to improve manufacturing processes.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technology
  • Ability to develop PFD & P&ID independently
  • Proficiency with 2D (AutoCAD) & 3D modeling software (SolidWorks) a must
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in water treatment industry is a plus
  • Passion for sustainability and innovation and a desire to make a positive impact on the world
