Work as a member of the technical team to provide process engineering support for operations.
Provide technical advice and support for daily operational issues.
Perform unit optimization, troubleshooting, and debottlenecking studies.
Lead and participate in safety initiatives, including risk assessments and HAZOP reviews.
Support ongoing reliability improvements and equipment strategy development.
Analyze complex technical issues, identify key drivers, and propose strategies and recommendations to support decision-making and the resolution of technical issues.
Be responsible for the development and execution of margin improvement ideas and projects.
The role may be assigned to either the Chemical Plant or Refinery at the start of employment.
Job Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field from a recognized university. Candidates with no experience are welcome.
A team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of multitasking, managing multiple stakeholders, and prioritizing work effectively.
Knowledge of process modelling software and experience using relevant technical computing tools and design software for hydraulic calculations, TRV relief, and other evaluations.
Familiarity with the development of H&MB, PFDs/P&IDs, and process equipment design specifications.
Good knowledge of industry standards and practices related to process design and safety.
