1.Process Management
- Support and optimize wet and dry manufacturing processes to achieve quality, yield, productivity, and process stability targets.
- Monitor, control, and maintain process parameters within established specifications.
- Manage wet processes, including Copper (Cu) plating, Nickel (Ni) plating, developing, stripping, and seed layer etching.
- Support dry processes, including dry lamination, Laser Direct Imaging (LDI), and flycutting.
- Troubleshoot process deviations and implement effective corrective actions to ensure consistent and stable production.
2.Chemical Analysis & Process Control
- Perform routine chemical analysis of plating solutions and process baths to ensure compliance with specified parameters.
- Conduct weekly replenishment and monitoring of Cu and Ni plating solutions.
- Monitor chemical concentrations and recommend adjustments to maintain optimal process performance and product quality.
- Maintain accurate records of chemical analysis and process conditions for monitoring and continuous improvement.
3.Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot process equipment and identify root causes of equipment-related issues.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
- Coordinate spare parts replacement and ensure timely equipment upkeep.
- Assist with equipment installation, qualification, commissioning, and process validation activities.
4.Quality Management & Problem Solving
- Investigate process deviations, quality issues, and customer complaints to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Apply structured problem-solving methodologies such as CAPA, 8D, FMEA, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve process reliability, product quality, and manufacturing performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve recurring process and quality issues.
5.Continuous Improvement (Kaizen)
- Drive and participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance quality, productivity, cost efficiency, and workplace safety.
- Participate in Kaizen and operational excellence projects to improve manufacturing processes and overall operational performance.
- Analyze production and process data to identify improvement opportunities and trends.
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to support process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Knowledge of electroplating, chemical processes, or semiconductor/manufacturing operations will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with CAPA, 8D, FMEA, SPC, RCA, or other structured problem-solving methodologies is preferred.
- Hands-on, analytical, and systematic approach to troubleshooting process and equipment-related issues.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to support production, quality, and process improvement objectives.
