Our client is a leading organisation specialised in developing Semiconductor machines. They are currently seeking a Senior/ Application Engineer (Process)
Responsibilities:
- Define and Document Equipment process requirement and specification.
- Perform Process characterization to optimize critical process paths in order to meet equipment specification.
- Review, simplify and optimize Internal Buy Off specification for equipment together with Quality Assurance Department.
- Participate in continuous process improvement activities to enhance Equipment capability.
- Support Equipment manufacturing activities by helping to trouble-shoot and resolve process-related issues
- Support other internal departments to handle customers process related issues and recommend technical solutions
- Perform data analysis using statistical techniques and conduct process capability studies
- Transfer process knowledge to in house Engineers and Technicians to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Equipment UPH projection calculation base on specific process parameter.
Requirements:
- Degree in Production / Mechanical / Material Science Engineering
- 1-5 years experience in an equipment manufacturing environment with a process engineering and background. Senior position is available for candidates with more years of experience.
- Strong interest in the development of new manufacturing processes
- Experience in process design and control in the area of Die-Sorter process.
- Knowledge in Material Science will be added advantage.
- Knowledge in cycle time calculation.
- Trained in SPC, DOE and other statistical tools
- Able to travel overseas when required (duration is about a week)
