Process Engineer (Precision Engineering)
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer with strong expertise in precision engineering and CNC machining processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with ISO standards and GMP requirements. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to design fixtures, improve tooling efficiency, and implement process improvements that enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize precision engineering processes for CNC machining operations.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, GMP requirements, and company quality policies.
- Design and develop fixtures to support precision machining and assembly processes.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues.
- Program CNC machines and support automation initiatives to improve efficiency.
- Evaluate and recommend machining tooling to enhance performance and reduce downtime.
- Conduct process validation, capability studies, and continuous improvement projects.
- Document and maintain process workflows, SOPs, and technical reports.
- Provide technical training and guidance to operators and junior engineers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in precision engineering and CNC machining processes.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards and GMP compliance in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CNC programming and CAD/CAM software.
- Hands-on experience in machining tooling selection.
- Solid understanding of process validation, capability studies, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
