About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Process Engineer to support chemical manufacturing operations, with a strong focus on process safety, quality systems, and operational improvement. This role plays a key part in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant production activities while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily chemical manufacturing operations to ensure stable and efficient production processes
- Lead and participate in risk assessments and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) activities to enhance process safety and reliability
- Monitor process performance and identify opportunities for improvement in yield, efficiency, and safety
- Work closely with production, maintenance, and EHS teams to resolve operational and technical issues
- Ensure compliance with established quality and safety management systems
- Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives related to operational excellence
- Analyse process data to support troubleshooting and optimisation efforts
- Contribute to incident investigations and implementation of corrective actions when required
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in chemical manufacturing or process industry
- Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 50001) is required
- Experience in risk assessment, FMEA, or process safety management will be an advantage
