Overview
A growing life sciences organisation is seeking a Process Development Associate to support process optimisation, manufacturing support activities, technical investigations, and technology transfer initiatives within a regulated environment.
This role offers broad exposure across technical operations, process development, manufacturing support, and continuous improvement projects. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to support process execution, troubleshoot technical challenges, and contribute to operational excellence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Process Development & Manufacturing Support
- Support manufacturing and process development activities in line with operational schedules.
- Monitor process performance and identify opportunities for optimisation.
- Assist with technical investigations and root cause analysis activities.
- Design, execute, and document experiments to address process-related challenges.
- Recommend process improvements based on technical findings and data analysis.
Process Improvement
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across operational processes.
- Analyse process trends and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, quality, and performance.
- Support implementation of approved process changes.
- Contribute to technical problem-solving activities across multiple projects.
Technology Transfer & Technical Operations
- Support technology transfer activities between development, manufacturing, and external partners where required.
- Prepare technical documentation, protocols, reports, and supporting materials.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of transferred processes.
- Support training and knowledge-sharing activities relating to technical processes and procedures.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare technical reports and presentations.
- Analyse and communicate data to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation.
- Support preparation of technical materials for internal review and decision-making.
Operational Support
- Assist with equipment maintenance coordination and laboratory operations.
- Support general operational activities required to maintain efficient workflows.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, quality standards, and operational requirements.
- Participate in maintaining a safe and organised working environment.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Maintain compliance with all applicable health, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and report potential risks or compliance concerns.
- Support initiatives aimed at improving workplace safety and operational excellence.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and established best practices.
