The client is a multinational engineering company operating one of Singapore's most sophisticated high-automation precision manufacturing facilities, supplying a critical component used before any semiconductor chip can exist.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
. Drive manufacturing performance, productivity, and cost improvements through data analytics, automation, and AI/ML solutions.
. Develop and integrate advanced process control and R2R workflows using manufacturing systems and data platforms.
. Design scalable software solutions using Python, SQL databases, and modern development frameworks to support high-volume production.
. Build, deploy, and maintain AI/ML applications for manufacturing use cases.
. Implement DevOps and CI/CD best practices for reliable and sustainable software deployment.
. Develop operational dashboards and workflows to enhance visibility and data-driven decision making.
. Collaborate with engineering, IT, and global teams to deliver scalable cross-site solutions.
. Maintain documentation and provide regular progress reports.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
. Strong proficiency in Python programming.
. Experience with SQL and structured data management.
. Understanding of manufacturing processes, process control, or engineering principles.
. Familiarity with DevOps, Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and software maintenance is a plus.
. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive insights from complex data.
. Self-driven, collaborative, and effective communicator.
