Title: Private Tax, under Business Tax Service Line (based in Singapore) – Private Tax Senior Manager (High Net Worth Individuals & Family Offices)

Work you'll do

You will join our team of dedicated Deloitte Private tax specialists, providing advice to privately held businesses and their owners. You will be one of the primary contacts for very wealthy Asian and global families and become a trusted advisor to those clients. You will supervise a team of specialised international professionals in executing projects and will coordinate advise across multiple geographies and service lines within Deloitte. You will be based in Singapore. You will report directly to the Tax Partner of Deloitte Private in Singapore.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• You should have at least a Degree in business/finance/economy or law;
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in providing tax advise including some relevant experience in international tax advise, preferably with an international professional services firm (accounting or law);
• Experience in serving Chinese inbound clients, High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI) and structuring relating to setting up family offices in Singapore
• Chinese speaking skills and abilities to interact with mainland Chinese clients
• Excellent project management skills;
• Strong personality and soft skills to advice sensitive UHNW families;
• Able to work independently on projects and meet the highest quality requirements; and
• Ambition and capability to grow into a bigger responsibility after 1-3 years depending on performance.
• An SIATP accreditation would be an added advantage
