This person will join the Global Client Group and work with local sales teams on fundraising for Private Assets and client follow-ups. They will also collaborate with the Private Assets team in Europe to oversee marketing content, coordinate local sales efforts, and maintain client relationships.
Fundraising Coordination
Organizes fundraising efforts, working with local sales to create prospect lists, set outreach timelines, and develop reporting templates.
Monitors local outreach progress, supports sales teams with training and marketing, and addresses challenges.
Oversees the APAC fundraising pipeline.
Active Fundraising Participation
Engages in fundraising by meeting clients and providing marketing materials.
Attends introductory meetings with local sales or directly if coordinated.
Manages the deal closing process, tracks opportunities, and provides prospects with information.
Ensures sales and clients receive high-quality investment content.
Responsible for the quality of marketing materials, messaging, and investment content for APAC investors.
Business Development Strategy
Contributes to fund launch planning by providing insights on market appetite, timing, and competitor analysis.
Regularly communicates with local sales, market research, and Private Assets teams to anticipate market demand.
Collaborates with local management and sales teams to define the Private Asset sales strategy and fund launch plans for APAC.
Client Nurturing
Ensures regular information flow to existing clients.
Oversees the quality of client reporting and ensures clients are contacted frequently.
Prepares clients for new fund launches proactively.
Requirement
A proven expert with internal and external credibility and gravitas in the private asset eco-system in APAC:
Credibility vis a vis the investment teams within his/her scope Understand asset classes, sourcing, selection, portfolio construction
Credibility vis a vis clients Understand AM distribution, has exprience of senior relationship with Investors
Very strong sensitivity to risk management and to regulatory topics. Acts in full compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, Company policies and codes of conduct
Able to represent the firm to establish long-term relationships and provide excellence to clients.
