A leading Asia-focused investment platform is expanding its fund platform and is looking to hire a Private Funds Lawyer to support the growth of its private markets strategies.

This role sits close to the investment and fundraising teams and offers hands-on involvement in the structuring, formation and ongoing management of private funds across multiple strategies. The work includes fund formation, investor negotiations, co-investment arrangements, carried interest structures, regulatory matters and ongoing fund governance. The platform operates across jurisdictions, making this a highly cross-border and commercially engaging position. Mandarin proficiency is a must for this role due to the need to liaise with regional stakeholders.

The team is particularly interested in lawyers currently with top-tier international law firms, with strong experience in private funds, fund formation and related regulatory matters. High-calibre in-house lawyers at a comparable level, with relevant exposure to fund structuring and investor-facing work, will also be considered.
