Private Equity Associate - Multi-Strategy Investment Fund
Lico Resources is partnering with a top-tier international multi-strategy private equity fund with a robust Asia investment focus. We are seeking an exceptional Private Equity Associate to execute high-impact deals across diverse sectors within the region.
The Role
You will work directly with senior investment professionals on the full investment lifecycle-from origination through exit-with a focus on ASEAN markets. This is a high-visibility position offering direct exposure to complex, multi-sector transactions and portfolio value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial modeling, valuation analysis, and comprehensive due diligence on ASEAN investment opportunities across multiple sectors
- Drive deal execution from investment memo preparation through transaction structuring and closing
- Manage portfolio company monitoring and identify value creation levers to maximize returns
- Develop investment theses through rigorous industry research and market trend analysis
- Source and evaluate new investment opportunities through active engagement with industry stakeholders
- Prepare materials for investment committees, LPs, and portfolio company management teams
What You Bring
- At least 3 years experience in a bulge-bracket investment bank (M&A, ECM, or leveraged finance) or established private equity fund
- Demonstrated track record in deal execution, including due diligence, structuring, and closing direct investments
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation capabilities with strong commercial judgment
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all organizational levels
- Self-directed work style with exceptional attention to detail in fast-paced environments
- ASEAN market knowledge or regional language skills strongly preferred
