Working Days: Rostered Schedule
Working Hours: 12-hour Shift
Salary: SGD 7,000 - 9,000 per month

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced, compassionate and highly professional Registered Nurse to provide dedicated one-to-one private nursing care to an individual patient.

The role combines private nursing, personal care and lifestyle support, with a strong emphasis on maintaining the patient's health, comfort, safety and overall quality of life.

You will work closely with the patient, family members and other healthcare professionals to provide personalised care, monitor the patient's condition and ensure that their individual care plan is consistently followed.

The successful candidate should be comfortable working in a private household environment, maintaining strict confidentiality and providing attentive, discreet and professional support. Overseas travel with the patient may be required.

Key Responsibilities

One-to-One Nursing & Health Management

  • Provide dedicated one-to-one nursing care and support to the patient throughout the scheduled shift.
  • Monitor and document the patient's health status and overall condition.
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with prescribed medical instructions.
  • Observe changes in the patient's condition and promptly escalate any concerns to the family and relevant healthcare professionals.
  • Coordinate with doctors, specialists, therapists and other healthcare professionals as required.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing review of the patient's individual care plan.

Personal Care

  • Assist with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, dressing and grooming where required.
  • Assist with rehabilitation or physiotherapy where appropriate.
  • Ensure the patient's environment is safe, comfortable and conducive to recovery and well-being.
  • Provide appropriate support during appointments, treatments and medical consultations.

Lifestyle & Personal Support

  • Provide companionship and emotional support while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
  • Support the patient's daily routines, nutrition, hydration and general lifestyle needs.
  • Accompany the patient to social activities, appointments and other engagements when required.
  • Assist with coordinating daily schedules and healthcare-related arrangements.
  • Maintain a calm, reassuring and patient-centred approach at all times.

Travel & Overseas Support

  • Accompany the patient during overseas travel, including holidays, business trips or medical-related travel as required.
  • Ensure continuity of care throughout travel and maintain the patient's medication, treatment and care routines.
  • Coordinate with local healthcare providers and medical facilities when required.
  • Be prepared to adapt to different environments, schedules and travel arrangements while maintaining professional standards of care.

Family & Healthcare Coordination

  • Work collaboratively with other nurses, caregivers, domestic staff and healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the patient's medical condition, personal affairs, family and household matters.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a recognised nursing qualification and valid professional registration.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in private duty nursing, home nursing, acute care, rehabilitation, geriatric care or similar settings.
  • Previous experience providing one-to-one patient care is highly preferred.
  • Experience with medication administration and care-plan management.
  • Mature, compassionate and patient-centred approach to care.
  • Highly discreet and respectful of the patient's privacy and confidentiality.
  • Organised, responsible and attentive to detail.
  • Flexible and willing to work a rostered 12-hour day-shift schedule.
  • Willingness and ability to travel overseas with the patient when required.
  • Previous experience working with UHNW individuals, private families or in a private household environment would be an advantage.
