Private Banking – VP, KYC Compliance

This is a newly created headcount, sat in the second line of defence to support the increase in business volume with a rapidly growing Swiss private bank.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Perform 4-eye review of high-risk client onboarding and acts as the point of escalation for KYC matters.
• Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for PEPs and complex clients
• Assist the Head of KYC Compliance in impact and gap analysis for new regulatory developments, and implement additional controls accordingly
• Act as a deputy to the Head of KYC compliance and provide leadership to the team when required

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• At least 10 years of AML/KYC experience from the private banking/wealth management industry.
• Familiar with recent AML/KYC regulatory requirements in relevance to client onboarding/account opening
• Able to work independently. Collaborative mindset.
