Job Description

An established Regional Wholesale Bank is seeking an experienced Private Banking Operations Senior Manager to provide leadership and operational oversight within its Private Banking platform. You will play a key role in overseeing risk and operational reviews, strengthening governance frameworks, and ensuring efficient middle-office support for Private Banking Operations. In return, you will enjoy an attractive remuneration package of up to S$120,000 per annum.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide leadership oversight and conduct designated risk and operational reviews across Private Banking Operations.
  • Support operational processes across Private Banking products including bonds, equities, funds, structured products, Dual Currency Investments (DCIs), and corporate actions lifecycle events.
  • Handling of Corporate Actions, position reconciliation and client statements
  • Trained to be trainer to the new system, while participating in systems UAT
  • Making constructive and practical suggestions to enhance operational workflow and reduce operational risks
  • Management of SWIFT Alliance System, including releasing of SWIFT payment
  • Management of issues related to remittances and deposits
  • Ensure adherence to AML requirements, internal policies, operational risk standards, and regulatory expectations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, controls, and client service excellence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Wealth Management / Private Banking Operations, with at least 5 years supporting market teams or in a supervisory capacity.
  • Strong experience in client onboarding, deposit and remittance operations, and securities operations within Private Banking Middle Office or Operations.
  • Good understanding of AML regulatory requirements and relevant internal policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Strong knowledge of Risk & Compliance / Operational Risk Management frameworks.
  • Good understanding of Private Banking products and services.
  • Proven experience supporting projects, operational enhancements, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to improving operational processes.
