Private Banking Operations Specialist

The role is responsible for all operational matters related to Private Banking, including settlements of all PB investment products, such as but not limited to bonds, equities, mutual funds structured products, DCIs etc.

Key Responsibilities

Handling the settlement of all wealth management products, including equities, bonds, mutual funds, structured products, structured deposits etc.

Handling of Corporate Actions, position reconciliation and client statements

Trained to be trainer to the new system, while participating in systems UAT

Making constructive and practical suggestions to enhance operational workflow and reduce operational risks

Management of SWIFT Alliance System, including releasing of SWIFT payment

Management of issues related to remittances and deposits

Co-ordination with other stakeholders to resolve issues

Carries out other duties as and when assigned

Job Requirements

Minimum a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a relevant discipline

Minimum 5 years related working experience within the Banking industry, particularly in PWM Operations space.

Self-motivated and independent with strong communication skills

Good avaloq knowledge will be an advantage.

Proficient in spoken and written English/Chinese to liaise with Chinese speaking headquarter counterparties.
