IBF Polytechnic Graduate Apprentice Programme
In collaboration with Institute of Banking and Finance Singapore (IBF), this programme aims to provide you with a 12-month learning and development journey with structured exposure and experience to Foreign Exchange (FX) operations within Private Banking.
It combines on-the-job training and a dedicated mentor to help develop both technical and people competencies relevant to the Advisory Solutions team which includes Advisors, Capital Markets (i.e. FX and Structured Products), Fixed Income and Equities. You will gain hands-on experience in FX trade support operations, participate in improvement and/or redesign projects for FX, Structured Products and Execution team within the Capital Markets team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
You will be working alongside the FX team to support daily operations including:
- Checking of trade details and ensuring accuracy
- Assisting with trade reconciliation with the relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare product documents (i.e. term sheets)
- Support FX trade processes and updates
- Support the team in process improvement and automation projects
- Manage and organise data for reporting and analysis
- Assist in preparing marketing and presentation materials for internal and client use
- Provide back-up support for the HK team when required
- Assume any other tasks as assigned within the Capital Markets team
REQUIREMENTS
We welcome graduates from all Polytechnic Diploma disciplines with less than 2 years of working experience.
- Recent polytechnic graduates (or graduating soon in 2026)
- Eligible polytechnics: Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP); Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP); Republic Polytechnic (RP); Singapore Polytechnic (SP); or Temasek Polytechnic (TP).
- Or has completed National Service after graduating from a polytechnic, within 2 years from programme commencement date
- Strong interest in banking, operations or in excel, with good coding knowledge
- Meticulous and accurate in executing work assigned with a strong risk control approach
- Demonstrates accountability and initiative.
- Able to multi-task and work under time sensitive environment
- Team player with the capability to work independently
