Job Description

Job Description:

  1. Review and analysis of credit proposals from Private Banking Department. Credit facilities include Lombard Loan, Premium Financing, Real Estate Financing etc. Provide credit facility recommendation to authorized approver and propose relevant risk mitigation/credit conditions if any. Ensure credit applications are in line with the Bank's credit policy and risk appetite.
  2. Perform due diligence analysis for counterparties onboarding, including fund managers, insurance companies, trading counterparties etc.
    Review and evaluate financial products for onboarding, such as mutual funds, insurance products etc.
  3. Review and improve credit policies and procedures, including adjustments of margin ratios for various financial products. Assist in the risk identification and mitigation of new business initiatives.
  4. Perform loan portfolio monitoring and reviews (daily collateral shortfall monitoring, stress testing etc). Identify and evaluate potential risk concerns and propose/implement mitigating measures to ensure sound portfolio quality.
  5. Complete other assigned responsibilities/tasks by the Management.

Job Requirements:

  1. A recognized university degree or above with finance, accounting or related majors.
  2. More than 2 years of credit analysis experience in a banking environment, with knowledge and exposure to private banking credit facilities.
  3. Good knowledge and understanding of credit analysis and policies, private banking products and credit processes.
  4. Working knowledge of various investment products, such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, structured products, real estates etc
  5. Good collaborative and interpersonal skills.
  6. Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese is required as incumbent is required to liase with Chinese counterparts from Head Office.
