Job Description
This role reports into COO function to operationalize Private Bank service and support via a central utility team setup.
The Intern Will /is
- Be part of a Central Utility Team setup supporting the Front Office (SCAs and CAAs)
- Be part of the knowledge center to the Front Office for Client Onboarding documentation requirement and submission, statement and advice retrieval and retail services
- Process client onboarding documentation request and check covering from document request to document completeness check to system entry and submission
- Cover/ support activities part of end-to-end client lifecycle - from client onboarding to security transfer to static maintenance to account closure
- Assist in client servicing support, example, retrieval of Statement, advices, document and valuation report
- Responsible for queries from Front Office pertaining to the scope covered
- Work with Front Office to submit instruction to middle office/ back office for retrieval request
- Depending on the task, it may include entry into Private Bank system
- Adhere to Internal policies & procedures and escalate where necessary
Job Requirements
- Knowledge in private banking, handling account opening documentations, account maintenance, security transfer will be preferred
- Excellent organizational and client servicing skills and ability to multi-task and work under time pressure
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively is key
- Strong appreciation and in depth understanding of Private Banking business models
- Good understanding of Private Banking process and controls, front-to-back and an appreciation of use of IT as an enabler.
- Mature and able to work independently with minimal supervision and willingness to be hands on.
- Confident and able to interact with colleagues from other functional areas
