What You'll Do:
As a Retail Payment Architect, you will design and build a high-concurrency, multi-scenario F&B and retail payment platform, balancing payment link stability with strong business agility.
- Design industry-focused solutions: Identify and resolve core pain points in F&B and retail, including store fund pooling, franchisee splitting & reconciliation, refund workflow optimization, and lead end-to-end technical solution delivery.
- System architecture: Design the full payment system architecture for offline retail scenarios including QR code ordering, offline POS payment processing, aggregated payments, and splitting & settlement, ensuring high availability and horizontal scalability.
- Drive cross-team delivery: Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, QA, operations, pre-sales and customer success teams to lead full lifecycle project implementation and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
Who We Want:
We are looking for a hands-on architect with deep payment system expertise and strong business scenario immersion.
- 8+ years of software development experience in the internet or payment industry, with 3–5 years of focused experience in F&B or retail. Proven deep understanding of industry-specific payment capabilities, including POS terminals, offline QR codes, scan-to-order, and multi-tiered splitting logic.
- Solid expertise in end-to-end payment system design and workflows, including cashier modules, order management, payment routing, and merchant onboarding.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, able to manage competing priorities from multiple stakeholders and deliver complex cross-team projects under pressure.
- Strong logical thinking and clear, concise communication. Able to translate business value into technical solutions, rather than focusing solely on technical execution.
Preferred Qualifications:
a. Core payment architecture experience at large F&B chain brands or leading omnichannel retail platforms.
b. Familiarity with cross-border payments, international card schemes, or hands-on experience in overseas payment delivery.
