Job Summary andPrincipal Responsibilities
- As Structure lead, be Responsible for project communication, discipline coordination, scheme discussion and formulation, etc.
- Work scope and technical requirements identification.
- Take part in the technical clarification and prepare discipline proposals.
- Design, review and approval of Structure professional documents, and closure of owner opinions.
- Responsible for coordinating, tracking, implementing and dealing with all kinds of problems in the Structure technical documents.
- Responsible for preparing and review of technical documents for material bidding of Structure discipline, clarification of bid evaluation, vendor drawings review, FAT inspection and other procurement technical support work.
- Responsible for the preparation or review of special reports, as well as the review of various calculation results.
- Responsible for site coordination, scheme discussion and other technical support during project construction.
- Complete other work assigned by Project Manager and Structure department.
Education/Experience Requirements/ Certification
(list minimum education and/or years of experience required)
- Bachelor degree or above;
- More than 15 years of experience in offshore engineering (offshore platform, FPSO and semi-submersible platform, etc.) structural design
- Major in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering or structural engineering.
- Familiar with the international standards for offshore structural engineering (API RP-2A, ISO 19901 etc.)
Behavioral/Technical Skills:
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Special requirement for Structural engineer: 1.Familiar with structural engineering works of offshore oil platform;2.Using SACS, AutoCAD softwares to perform structural engineering works;
- Special requirement for Geotechnical and Foundation engineer: 1. Familiar with Geotechnical and Foundation engineering works of offshore oil platform;2. Using Grlweap, SACS, AutoCAD softwares to perform Geotechnical and Foundation engineering works.

The employement type for this position is third-party staffing. The employees shall enter into an employment contract via HR agency and provide services to COOEC.
