The Principal Solution Architect (PSA) reports directly to the CTO and plays a critical role in defining and governing enterprise-level software architecture. You will lead architecture standards, guide solution design, and support delivery teams to ensure scalable, secure, and cost-effective technology solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain software architecture standards, technologies, and best practices aligned with organizational strategy.
- Lead the design of scalable and reusable solution architectures and components.
- Provide architectural guidance and technical oversight to delivery teams.
- Promote modern engineering practices including Agile, DevOps, and cloud-native architectures.
- Support infrastructure planning and architecture reviews for development and test environments.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to support product roadmaps and R&D initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, customers, and partners to ensure architectural alignment.
- Embed security, risk management, and compliance considerations into architecture design.
- Support the CTO in developing technical competency frameworks and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing secure, mission-critical solution architectures.
- Strong expertise in cloud architectures (public or private).
- Hands-on experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and automation practices.
- Solid understanding of performance, scalability, latency, and security considerations.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks, blueprint design, and modeling tools.
- Knowledge of security risks, threats, and mitigation strategies.
- Experience working in regulated or government environments is an advantage.
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
