We are hiring Principal Software Engineer (Golang) on behalf of our client, a fast-growing company in the Internet technology industry with products and projects serving users across multiple global markets.

Responsibilities
- Lead the overall system architecture design and development of core components, including application architecture, development frameworks, engineering standards, and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams in the design and implementation of scalable business modules.
- Continuously optimize and modernize existing platform architecture, identify and resolve architectural bottlenecks, and drive system scalability and reliability.
- Drive product innovation and technology evolution by designing scalable technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Lead the implementation of architectural initiatives, solving complex technical challenges and ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Lead system refactoring, feature enhancements, technology upgrades, and platform modernization efforts.
- Design end-to-end technical solutions for system migration, platform transformation, and application modernization projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience designing and delivering large-scale distributed systems and software architectures.
- Expert-level proficiency in Golang, with strong computer science fundamentals.
- Extensive experience designing high-performance, high-concurrency, highly available distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of RPC frameworks, distributed caching, message queues, load balancing, distributed transactions, and system performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing microservices architectures, including service decomposition, inter-service communication, service governance, and distributed system operations.
- Strong experience with relational databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, and Oracle, including database performance tuning and optimization.
- Familiarity with mainstream NoSQL databases and distributed data storage technologies.
- Demonstrated experience leading architectural decisions across multiple engineering teams, establishing engineering standards, and mentoring senior engineers.
- Experience building and scaling products from 0 to 1 is highly preferred.
- Professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required. Mandarin is essential as the role involves close collaboration with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and engineering teams, as well as supporting client projects conducted primarily in Mandarin.
