Principal Software Engineer (Deputy Director)

Job Description

• The candidate will be instrumental in shaping the organization's future by aligning technology with business goals, scaling digital and artificial intelligence infrastructure, and ensuring robust, secure, and high-performance teams.
• You will oversee all aspects of technology development, from product engineering to related IT infrastructure, operations and architecture, while also mentoring and growing a high-performing technical team.

Requirements

. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

. Proven experience (10+ years) in senior technology leadership roles, ideally as Engineering Director, or CTO equivalent positions.

. Deep technical expertise across architecture, software development, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).

. Track record of scaling technology teams and platforms, especially in high-growth or startup environments.

. Strong product orientation and ability to collaborate closely with product and design teams.

. Experience with modern engineering best practices: CI/CD, DevSecOps, microservices, and agile methodologies.

. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

. Strong security, data governance, and compliance awareness. Experience and knowledge in cybersecurity and secure network infrastructure is a plus.
