This position reports to Security Operations (SecOps) team lead and interfaces with other teams within the Cyber Security Branch & within the IT Department. The person will work closely with cross-functional teams across Cybersecurity and IT to safeguard organisational systems, networks, and sensitive data, while strengthening the organisation's overall security posture through proactive threat prevention, detection, and response.
What You'll Do:
Person will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and management of cyber security systems which include but not limited to:
- Network security management (e.g. intrusion prevention system, network detection & response)
- Web security management (e.g. URL filtering, web application firewall)
- End point security management (e.g. anti-malware, device control, application control, data loss prevention or network access control)
- Messaging security management (e.g. anti-malware, anti-spam, content filtering)
- Security & vulnerability management (security information and event management, device and application vulnerability management)
- Privileged Access Management (PAM), Certificate Authority / PKI management
- Automation of management tasks
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support security incident response, system hardening, and continuous compliance initiatives.
What You'll Need:
- Degree in Computer/IT-related disciplines
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in administering and managing enterprise cybersecurity solutions
- Strong working knowledge across a broad spectrum of security domains, including:
- Network security
- Endpoint security
- Encryption and PKI
- Operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Databases and application security
- Vulnerability management and patching
- Logging, monitoring, and SIEM platforms
- Backup and recovery
- Change management
- Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions would be an added advantage.
- Relevant professional certifications such as Certified
- Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified
- Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information
- Security Manager (CISM) would be an added advantage
- Singaporeans and Permanent Residents preferred.
