THE ROLE
The Principal/Senior Equipment Engineer is responsible for:
- Own the performance, reliability, and uptime of assigned wet process equipment.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for equipment failures.
- Collaborate with process engineering, facilities, and tool vendors for continuous improvement and tool upgrades.
- Lead preventative maintenance planning and mentor junior engineers and technicians on tool operation and best practices.
REQUIREMENTS
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience with wet equipment in a semiconductor fab environment.
- Familiarity with SPC, FDC, and equipment performance metrics.
