[What the role is]
The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore's raison d'etre is to develop the air hub and aviation industry in Singapore, expanding Singapore's links to the rest of the world. We enable opportunities through aviation, making connections, opening doors and enabling choices in people's lives.
You will become part of the team responsible for project management and maintenance of our 24/7 mission-critical communications systems. Your role will include delivering and maintaining communications systems in compliance with international standards, such as those set by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and International Telecommunications Union (ITU), as well as adhering to best practices. Additionally, you will work to enhance both software and hardware components of existing communications systems.
As part of your responsibilities, you are required to collaborate closely with a range of stakeholders, including operational users, in-house development teams, equipment suppliers, contractors, as well as external parties from Singapore Public Service agencies and international counterparts.
[What you will be working on]
- Operations and maintenance of 24/7 mission-critical communications systems
- Participate in investigation and problem resolution of technical issues
- Enhancement of both software and hardware components of existing communications systems
- Contract management for operations and maintenance, systems enhancements and new projects
- Evaluate emerging technologies to assess suitability for use in existing or new communications systems
- Undertake ICAO activities related to communications systems and other aeronautical-related systems

- Strong systems, network and cybersecurity background preferred
