Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of various technical projects. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations, including task breakdown and milestone setting. Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective collaboration across different functions. Monitor project progress, identify and assess risks, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies. Ensure technical solutions align with business requirements and maintain quality standards. Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and senior management by establishing regular reporting protocols. Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource utilization effectively. Drive innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within project teams. Ensure adherence to organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Take full responsibility and ownership for the execution of projects from initiation through to completion.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field a Master's degree is preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical project management or related roles. PMP certification is required. Proven leadership and team management abilities with strong interpersonal skills. Familiarity with project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall. Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Smartsheet. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in budgeting, resource planning, and vendor management. Solid manufacturing knowledge, particularly in opto-mechanical assembly and machining. Proficiency with ERP systems and business process integration. Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills. Capability to remain resilient and effective under pressure. Strong analytical, structured, and results-oriented decision-making skills. Willingness to travel up to 20% as required.
