Job Description

As a Principal Program Manager of FE Operation Strategy, you will be responsible for working with leadership teams and program stakeholders to manage programs and business processes to achieve corporate business goals. You will be working in close partnerships with site leadership and diverse global teams to align network strategic direction and to drive innovative solutions to ensure Best in Class performance for Micron Front End Operations.

Responsibilities:

Drive aligned strategic and direction

  • Actively collaborate with leadership team and program stakeholders to align on a common direction for strategic programs

  • Understand short-term and long-term goals within Front End and ensure alignment to corporate business goals. Initiate and drive cross-functional programs to achieve corporate business goals

  • Work with leadership team to identify best candidate is mobilized to drive business critical deliverables.

  • Facilitate the definition of program scope, goals, deliverables, timeline and resource requirements in collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders and assure a rational roadmap

  • Manage the definition, refinement, and implementation of core methodologies and tools for business process including reporting

  • Identify and resolve issues, conflicts and reaction to change of business situation

  • Provide insightful business and market intelligence to the leadership team to guide the business

Deliver tactical support and program management

  • Establish structure and manage program dependencies, prioritize programs, track program milestone and deliverables

  • Assure clarity in FE goals, clear sense of ownership down to working levels

  • Deliver program proposals and regular progress reports including aligned Key Performance Indicator (KPI) for executives and stakeholders and drive actions to achieve or exceed expectation

  • Connect global FE dashboard to overall company performance as well as site level performance

  • Identify potential roadblocks and develop and execute resolution plans

  • Facilitate regular meeting cadence with key business partners

  • Effectively manage team's internal and worldwide meeting structure to ensure meetings are efficient, effective and targeted to achieve required outcomes

  • Manage key stakeholders and incorporate feedback for continual improvement of overall program management

  • Coordinate escalation issues from different stakeholders as required to drive operations objectives

  • Facilitate transition of system and business processes from project closure to long term sustainment

Setup and provide communication channel

  • Provide regular and structured communication to all team members. Assure Front-End Operation team members are well-engaged and motivated to achieve company objectives

  • Work with site level program managers to incorporate site level update to foster two-way communication with all team members

  • Maintain a strong and open relationship with team members in other functional areas

  • Act as a point of contact between Front End Leadership and the program teams to ensure effective communication of expectations and directions

  • Manage communication on critical projects and activities and be prepared to share status of any underperforming project or activity, along with actions required to resolve performance problems

Requirements

Bachelor of Science Degree or above with equivalent work experience in one of the following areas of study:

  • Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistic, Quality

Qualifications & Experience/Skillset Required

  • 4+ year of Micron experience is must

  • Confident and effective communication skills with senior leaders and cross functional business partners.

  • Strong skills in decision-making, prioritization and negotiation

  • Strong problem solving and statistics skills

  • Strong teamwork and consensus building skills

    Leads people who are responsible for internal business projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts, delivering products through the design process to completion. Plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets. Monitors the project from inception through delivery. May engage and oversee the work of external vendors. Assigns, directs and monitors system analysis and program staff. These positions primary focus is project/program management, rather than the application of expertise in a specialized functional field of knowledge although they may have technical team members.
