Principal, Investment (Technology - AI & Cybersecurity)

Brief Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Principal to spearhead key investment initiatives. This role involves leading transaction processes and developing strategies in specific technology sectors, while offering substantial opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the investment strategy and thesis development for targeted technology sectors (e.g., AI, Cybersecurity).
• Research and analyze industry trends to identify global investment opportunities and establish a network of founders and co-investors to enhance deal flow.
• Oversee the execution of investment transactions, conducting thorough due diligence on potential targets, and evaluating risk-reward scenarios alongside strategic and financial implications.
• Facilitate investment structuring and negotiation of terms in collaboration with the legal team.
• Prepare investment memos and presentations for the Investment Committee.
• Manage portfolio performance by evaluating corporate actions and collaborating with the Portfolio Growth team on talent selection and business development to maximize ROI.
• Assist senior management in shaping overall corporate strategy and refining internal processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience with a demonstrable record of leading investment transactions from start to finish.
• Additional finance qualifications such as an MBA or CFA are preferred.
• Proven skills in relationship management, communication, and presentation.
• Strong ability to multitask and work independently in a dynamic environment.
