Manage projects from the concept and detail of the design through to implementation, testing, handover as well as maintenance
Oversee and provides technical direction and coordinates work for engineers, drafters, designers, and contractors
Assemble bid, approval, and construction issue drawing packages
Direct and/or participate in job site visits to collect or deliver design and engineering data
Proper hand-over of completed installation to clients
Estimate, develop and manage construction schedule, method statement, and temporary plan
Manage extensive and independent contact with clients, vendor's representatives and project field personnel
Researching suitable solutions and estimating costs and timescales
Ensure that proper site documentation for ongoing works, site meetings, safety records, method statements, shop drawings, as built submissions etc., are well managed
Requirements:
Min. Degree in Architectural, Civil / Structural / Electrical / Mechanical, Building Science, Project Management, Construction Management or other construction and engineering related qualification.
Candidates must successfully complete the certified Construction Safety Course for Project Manager conducted by training providers accredited by MOM.
Possess a Certificate of Competency in Earth Control Measures for Construction Site Personnel.
Knowledge with Microsoft Project Management and Critical Path Method.
Assist the Consultants (Architectural, Civil & Structure Engineering and Mechanical & Electrical Engineering) as overall coordinator of the project on site, to supervise all works on site and ensure compliance with all contract and design requirements.
Competent in leading and working a project team, including all site staff
Competent in chairing meeting & proper minute writing
