Principal Engineer / Software Developer / Junior Software Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Singapore, with flexibility for some remote work. As a Principal Engineer, Software Developer, or Junior Software Engineer at SAS Ventures, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions that support the company's e-commerce services. Your daily tasks will include back-end system development, programming, troubleshooting, and implementing scalable solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and contribute to the organization's technical innovation.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and experience with associated frameworks and tools
• Hands-on expertise in Software Development, including coding, deploying, and maintaining applications
• Knowledge of Programming languages and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree for Principal Engineer roles is a plus)
• Experience with cloud platforms, APIs, or third-party integrations is an advantage
