Independently develop structural design to comply with Class and Technical specification requirements withinassigned schedule
- Responsible for delivering the respective project design drawing and document according to project plan schedule. Shall take on project lead role
- Review external designer's pre-contract technical specifications, general arrangement and drawing lists.
- Liaise with Owner and Classification Society for the specific design requirement compliance, review, and approval.

- Performing FE analysis using FEMAP is an advantage.
- Review project team members drawings, calculations or documents prior submission.
- Perform structural calculation, rudder calculation and design.
- Prepare optimized arrangement & detail structure concept.
- Prepares sourcing technical specifications for fittings related to structure (special material/construction, rudder, etc.)
- Coordinates with detail designer / production designer and checks their processes and output.
- Communicate with the person in charge of production on trouble shooting and visiting on-site if needed
Job Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in the marine/offshore industry with Structure newbuilding engineering design.
- Familiar with AutoCAD/ Microsoft Office/ AVEVA/ FEMA and Good communication and analytical skills
Education
Bachelors in Engineering or Civil Engineering
