Job Summary
As Engineering Project Electrical Section Lead to roll the overall electrical engineering activities.
To provide technical guidance to fellow Draftsman, Senior/ Assistant Engineer for competencies development.
To complete assigned tasks within allocated timeline with high degree of accuracy.
Technical support for site technical issue.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and develop the Equipment Technical Specification based on Owner's Contractual Requirement, Classification bodies, and all relevant authorities
- Prepare the engineering drawings of each system( Single line diagram/ equipment layout/ termination drawing)
- Plan the cable routing and build the 3D modeling
- Prepare the Cable cutting List/ Schedule
- Provide technical support for site arises technical issue.
- Assist Section Project Lead in day to day operations.
- Review and advise the project's design mode & standard
- Report the project daily discipline (Man-hour/Schedule etc.)
- Feedback for profession's design mode & standard
- Study & Solve the project issues under Electrical responsibility
- Attend and report in project and section meeting
- Coordinate with Shipyard /Consultant / Vendor
- Project Handling- New building project, Repair, Upgrading, Conversion project
- Any others assigned
Key Requirements
- Full of the knowledge of Power system/ Automation system/ Navigation system
- Familiar with Rules and Regulation
- Familiar with Auto-CAD/ Microsoft Office/AVEVA
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Good teamworking spirit
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant work experience in the Electrical newbuilding design in the Marine / Offshore industry.
Education
Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering & Electronics
