We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Engineering leader with a proven track record in offshore oil & gas platform design. This is a senior role with strong leadership and technical responsibilities.
Key Requirements:
Educational Background: Bachelors degree or above in Electrical Engineering / Automation. Preference for Registered Electrical Engineers.
Industry Experience: 15+ years in offshore oil & gas platform electrical design, including 3+ years in a core design or management role in Singapore-based projects.
Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of marine engineering electrical design, API/ASME/Shell/local standards, and industry regulations. Mastery of electrical systems design, compliance, and risk management.
Software Skills: Proficient in ETAP, NAVISWORKS, DIALux, AutoCAD Electrical (modelling, short-circuit calculations, illumination simulation, collision inspection).
Leadership: 3+ years leading electrical teams resource planning, motivation, and successful project delivery.
Communication: Excellent English communication for clients, cross-functional teams, and external partners. Strong conflict resolution and coordination skills.
Problem-Solving: Fast, logical decision-making with the ability to anticipate risks and propose solutions.
Other: Familiar with Singapore approval/review processes; Shell/company standards; strong professional responsibility under high-intensity project environments.
