About The Role
What if your cloud security instincts could directly protect some of the world's most complex infrastructure We're looking for a Principal Cloud Security Architect to dig deep into large-scale cloud environments — uncovering architectural risks, IAM weaknesses, and security gaps that others miss before they become real-world incidents.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for senior security professionals who think in systems, communicate with precision, and know what good cloud architecture actually looks like.

What You'll Do
- Evaluate cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP for security vulnerabilities and design flaws
- Review IAM configurations, identity models, network segmentation, and resource policies
- Identify misconfigurations, privilege escalation risks, and insecure architectural patterns
- Produce clear, structured documentation of architectural flaws and prioritized mitigation guidance
- Validate cloud environments against established security frameworks and industry best practices
- Support recurring security assessments across evolving cloud environments and deployment patterns
Must-Have
Who You Are
- Deep, hands-on experience in cloud security architecture at scale
- Strong command of IAM models, network design principles, and cloud service models across major providers
- Ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable written documentation
- A systematic, detail-driven approach to identifying risk across large and intricate environments
Nice To Have
- Experience operating in multi-cloud, zero-trust, or high-compliance environments (FedRAMP, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.)
- Familiarity with cloud-native security tooling and CSPM platforms
- Background in threat modeling, red team assessments, or security architecture review frameworks
- Relevant certifications such as CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, or CISSP
