We are seeking a highly responsible and safety-conscious Truck Driver (Prime Mover) to join our transport and logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating prime movers, transporting cargo safely and efficiently, and maintaining high standards of road safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate prime movers to transport containers, trailers, and cargo to designated locations.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods while following assigned routes and schedules.
- Comply with all traffic laws, workplace safety regulations, and company policies.
- Secure cargo properly and verify delivery documentation.
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse personnel.
Requirements
- Valid Singapore Class 4 or Class 5 driving licence.
- Proven experience operating prime movers or heavy vehicles.
- Good knowledge of Singapore roads and transport regulations.
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality.
- Physically fit and able to work flexible hours when required.
