Prime Mover Driver

Responsible for the safe and timely delivering of Chemicals in ISO Tanker to customer sites. This role required specialized handling, including connecting hoses and valves for loading and unloading and strictly adhered to Hazardous Materials safety protocol.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for daily delivery of chemicals in ISO Tanker to customer sites.
• Wear personal protective equipment and be able to climb up the ISO tanker for loading and unloading hoses from the tanker.
• Connecting the hoses to the valves in customer site.
• Perform as an attendant for the drivers.
• Ensure Prime Mover are properly maintained and perform daily inspection on the vehicle.
• Member of the Emergency Response Team
• Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisors.

Experience, Qualification and Other Information:

• Minimum Secondary education, possess Class 4 driving license.
• 2 to 3 years of working experience in chemicals transportation using Prime Mover with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience and certification in safely operating ISO Tankers for chemical transportation, including loading, unloading, inspection, and compliance with relevant safety and regulatory standards will be added advantage.
• Familiar with roads regulations in Singapore.
• Comfortable working in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Ability to speak, read and write basic English for work purposes.
• Must be able to differentiate colour for work purposes.
• This role requires candidates to be able to perform physical tasks such as [e.g., lifting up to 15kg, standing for extended periods, or climbing stairs/ladders]
• Candidates with Forklift driving license will be added advantage.
• Candidates that are trained and qualified in Hazardous Materials Transport Driver Permit (HTDP) will be added advantage.
