Job Summary
Operate a prime mover to transport containers safely and efficiently between port terminals, warehouses, and customer premises while ensuring vehicle safety, timely deliveries, and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate a prime mover to transport containers between port terminals, warehouses, and customer premises to meet delivery schedules
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to verify safety and roadworthiness before trips
- Deliver containers accurately and on time according to scheduling requirements
- Follow traffic, safety, and port regulations to maintain compliance and ensure safe operations
- Communicate promptly with supervisors to report vehicle faults, delays, or incidents for timely resolution
- Complete additional duties assigned by the supervisor to support team operations
Required competencies and certifications
- Hold a valid Class 4 Driving Licence (Mandatory)
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Have 6 months to 1 year of experience driving a Prime Mover Truck
- Be familiar with routes and roads in Singapore
- Demonstrate teamwork and effective communication skills
