Prime Mover Driver

Job Responsibilities

• Operate prime mover and container trucks for daily transportation and delivery assignments.

• Transport containers between PSA terminals, customer premises, warehouses and other assigned locations.

• Perform container trucking, collection and delivery according to daily schedules.

• Ensure containers and cargo are transported safely and delivered on time.

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance issues promptly.

• Ensure proper securing of containers before travelling.

• Handle required delivery orders, container documents and other transportation paperwork.

• Comply with PSA regulations, road traffic regulations and company safety procedures.

• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned prime mover.

• Be prepared to work overtime and accommodate changes in delivery schedules when operationally required.

• Perform other transport-related duties assigned by the Operations Supervisor.

Requirements

• Valid Singapore Class 4 or Class 5 Driving Licence.

• Relevant prime mover/container trucking experience preferred.

• Familiarity with PSA port operations and container collection/delivery procedures will be advantageous.

• Possession of relevant PSA/port passes or certifications will be advantageous.

• Good knowledge of Singapore roads and industrial areas.

• Able to work independently and follow daily transport schedules.

• Responsible, punctual and safety-conscious.

• Physically fit and able to handle the operational requirements of the position.

• Willing to work overtime, weekends and/or public holidays when required by operations.
