About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Primary Math Curriculum Writer to design and develop high-quality instructional materials. This role is ideal for educators who are passionate about pedagogy and want to make a wider impact beyond the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive Primary Mathematics curriculum materials aligned with the MOE syllabus
- Create lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and teaching resources
- Apply concept-based learning and heuristics approaches in curriculum design
- Review and refine existing materials to improve clarity, structure, and effectiveness
- Collaborate with the academic team to ensure consistency and quality across programmes
- Support training of teachers on curriculum delivery where required
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Strong and in-depth knowledge of the Singapore Primary Mathematics syllabus
- Solid understanding of concept-based pedagogy and heuristics problem-solving approaches
- Preferably at least 4 years of classroom teaching experience
- Preferably at least 2 years of teaching experience within MOE
- Strong curriculum planning, writing, and organisational skills
- Detail-oriented with a passion for improving learning materials
- Willing to take on some relief teaching if needed
Salary & Work Arrangement
- $4,000/month
- Hybrid work arrangement (combination of remote and on-site work)
