Primary English Teacher

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed part-time or full-time teachers to join our team. We have positions available for both PRIMARY and SECONDARY programmes in the Katong AND/OR Bukit Timah area(s).

Job Scope:

- Conduct engaging and effective English and Composition Writing classes to primary students from Primary 1-6

- Deliver fun and engaging lessons in accordance with our in-house curriculum

- Prepare lesson plans and update lesson materials (when needed)

- Meticulously mark and return students work on a weekly basis

- Keep track of students progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate their improvement

- Build rapport with parents and update them on their child's academic and personal progress

- Basic classroom administration

Requirements:

-Minimally a Bachelor's Degree from a reputable university, preferably in related fields of Law, Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences or Communications

- Strong in the English language (spoken and written)

- Passionate about teaching English and writing to primary school students

- Excellent work ethics and team player

- Willing to develop skills and strategies to teach and support students of differing levels and learning

- Good interpersonal and communications skills to effectively engage students and parents

- Familiar with MS Office, Google Workspace and Zoom

Note: Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and work commitment.
