About the role

The Pricing Operations Analyst supports Dysons global pricing function by ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent execution of pricing decisions across systems and markets. The role is focused on SSP maintenance, pricing data integrity, operational controls, and process discipline, enabling the Pricing team and Markets to operate efficiently and with confidence.

This role is a foundational delivery role within Pricing Operations, working closely with Pricing Strategy, Finance, CRO, and Market teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pricing Execution & SSP Maintenance

  • Execute approved new product SSP and changes accurately and on time.

  • Support implementation of approved pricing decisions, ensuring alignment with:

    • Approved pricing packs

    • Effective dates

    • Market and channel requirements

  • Validate price uploads and outputs to minimise errors and rework.

2. Pricing Master Data & Controls

  • Maintain pricing master data with a strong focus on accuracy, completeness, and auditability.

  • Ensure appropriate documentation is stored for:

    • Pricing approvals

    • FXdriven vs strategic price changes

    • Effective date tracking

  • Support pricing audits and reconciliations, identifying discrepancies early.

3. Pricing Process & Governance Support

  • Support the operation of global pricing governance by:

    • Tracking pricing requests and approvals

    • Maintaining standard templates and workflows

    • Ensuring adherence to agreed processes

  • Flag incomplete inputs, data issues, or nonstandard requests to senior team members.

4. Ongoing Pricing Monitoring

  • Assist with routine pricing health checks, including:

    • Monitoring SSP vs ASP variances

    • Identifying missing or outdated prices

    • Tracking FXdriven impacts where relevant

  • Prepare basic pricing summaries and inputs used in regular pricing reviews.

5. Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to initiatives that improve pricing efficiency, including:

    • Process simplification

    • Template standardisation

    • Data automation and tooling enhancements

  • Highlight recurring issues or pain points to help improve upstream pricing quality.

Required Experience & Skills

Experience

  • 2-5 years experience in Pricing Operations, Commercial Operations, Finance Operations, Sales Operations, or similar roles

  • Exposure to pricing, master data, or financial systems preferred

  • Experience in multinational or regional environments desirable but not essential

Skills & Capabilities

  • High attention to detail and data accuracy

  • Strong organisational and timemanagement skills

  • Comfortable working with numbers and structured data

  • Clear communicator, able to collaborate across teams

  • Processorientated with a continuousimprovement mindset

  • Proficient in Excel experience with pricing or ERP systems an advantage
