Job Summary
Coordinate and manage shipment bookings, customer communications, vendor service standards, and billing processes to ensure timely, cost-effective logistics operations supporting air and ocean freight services.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate shipment bookings with carriers and airlines to ensure timely dispatch and delivery
- Communicate shipment status updates promptly to customers and overseas partners to maintain transparency
- Send pre-alert notifications for all shipments to prepare stakeholders in advance
- Update and maintain accurate shipment uplift reports for operational tracking
- Assist in verifying selling and cost details for each job to support financial accuracy
- Process billing accurately and promptly to ensure timely customer invoicing
- Monitor and enforce service standards with all vendors to maintain quality logistics support
- Manage airline, carrier, trucking, and co-loader networks to secure best buying rates via online portals
- Respond to RFQs and rate requests efficiently to support business development
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance service satisfaction
- Develop and support network agents by addressing their enquiries and fostering collaboration
- Perform additional official duties as assigned by senior management to support business needs
