Job Description

The Department of Strategy & Policy at the National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position. The successful candidate will conduct independent and collaborative research, contribute to high-quality publications, and support ongoing research activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research in economics (e.g., applied micro/macroeconomics, econometrics, public/health/labour/development economics-depending on fit)
• Prepare manuscripts for journal submission and present findings at conferences/seminars
• Collaborate with faculty and research team members
• Support research projects and mentoring of students (where relevant)

Requirements

• PhD in Economics (completed or near completion)
• Strong research potential and publication track record (or strong working papers)
• Excellent quantitative and academic writing skills
• Experience with empirical methods is an advantage
