Lead and coordinate the profitable operations of Daiwa Capital Markets Singapore and Sydney branches, setting strategic direction and representing the company with key clients and regulators.
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate the operations of multiple business units including merchant banking, securities brokerage, Asian Currency Unit transactions, treasury, wealth and corporate client solutions, investment banking, money market transactions, and related support functions at Daiwa Capital Markets Singapore Limited.
- Oversee securities broking business and support functions at Daiwa Capital Markets Investment Services Pte Ltd (DIS).
- Manage the Sydney branch operations to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Develop and plan the strategic direction and scope of Singapore and Sydney branch operations.
- Present future business plans and objectives to regional Chairman and Tokyo Senior Management to secure alignment and approval.
- Represent Daiwa Singapore and Sydney branch in building and maintaining relationships with major clients, regulators, and other key external stakeholders.
