About the Role:
For the construction and commissioning of a High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission system, we are seeking a versatile and experienced professional to cover a combined role of Preservation and Warehouse Management. This position ensures smooth and proper preservation of sensitive HVDC equipment, and efficient warehouse and logistics handling.
Preservation Coordination
- Develop and implement preservation plans for HVDC equipment and materials
- Monitor preservation activities and environmental conditions as per the preservation procedure of Equipment (humidity, temperature, storage, IR Test, Pressure Monitoring)
- Ensure compliance with preservation standards, procedures, and client requirements
- Ensure appropriate reporting, timely and according to supplier, internal or client requirements
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and technicians performing preservation tasks
- Maintain preservation records and prepare status reports for Site and Project management
- Support handover and commissioning readiness activities
- Handing over Preservation records to Customer using CMS System.
- Identifying Risks for HVDC equipment during different phases of project
Warehouse Management
- Manage warehouse operations including receipt, storage, and issuance of equipment and materials
- Ensure correct handling and storage of HVDC components in line with preservation, storage and safety standards
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks
- Organize logistics, packing, transportation, and on-site distribution of goods
- Supervise warehouse staff and logistics providers
- Implement HSE and quality standards in all warehouse activities
- Organizing Warehouse Audits.
Must-Have Requirements:
- Completed technical or commercial education (logistics, engineering, administration, or related field)
- Professional experience in preservation or maintenance of sensitive equipment and warehouse management on large-scale industrial projects (energy, oil & gas, construction preferred)
- Knowledge of HVDC or high-voltage equipment handling is an advantage
- Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Experience with document and warehouse management systems (ERP, DMS, MTA, IM2, Think project, Autodesk etc.) beneficial
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Flexibility, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to work on international construction sites
