PreSchool Teacher Assistant

Hess Preschool Katong is seeking a dedicated and passionate Pre-School Teacher Assistant to join our nurturing educational team.

About the Role

As a Teacher Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our class teachers and creating a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for children aged 18 months to 6 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist class teachers with daily routines, classroom management, and lesson preparation
• Support children's learning, development, and overall well-being
• Maintain active and positive communication with parents
• Ensure the safety, hygiene, and cleanliness of the classroom environment
• Supervise children during activities, mealtimes, and rest periods

Qualifications:

• Minimum Fundamental Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECDA-certified)

Experience:

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a childcare or preschool setting

Personal Attributes:

• Genuine love for teaching and working with young children
• Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic personality
• Able to pass a clear background check and medical fitness assessment

Working Hours

• 5 days per week
• Shift options: 9:30am - 6:30pm or 10:00am - 7:00pm
