Job Summary:
- Salary: Basic $2000 to $2300
- Work Days: Mon-Fri,
- Working Hours: 8am-5pm or 9am to 6pm (44hrs per week)
- Location: Bedok
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare meals that meet the proper nutritional requirement in accordance with Child Care menus and food policies (HMPP)
- Ensure that food is not expired, stored and handled properly for the Centre
- Ensure all kitchen equipment / utensils should be sanitized before and after usage, and are labelled and placed in the right place
- Ensure the kitchen area, serving trolleys and containers is clean at all times
- Ensure adequate cleaning supplies in the kitchen
- Check the balance of groceries that is needed and purchase them accordingly as per the allocated budget
- Check the groceries condition when it reaches the Centre
- Report any fault in any of the kitchen appliances or any workplace accidents / hazards
Job Requirement:
- Min 1 year of experience as a cook or similar role (experience in a preschool setting would be an advantage)
- Possess Basic Food & Hygiene Certificate
- Able to follow recipes and cook healthy meals
- Hardworking and meticulous individual who is able to be a team player
