Job Summary
The Preschool Teacher will develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curricula to deliver impactful early childhood education. You will foster meaningful engagement with children, collaborate with parents and colleagues, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and collaboration aligned with Bright Kids vision and values.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans and curricula aligned with Bright Kids curriculum to enhance children's learning outcomes
- Customize teaching approaches and pedagogy to engage children meaningfully and meet diverse developmental needs
- Refine classroom management strategies and document children's learning progress to inform instructional adjustments
- Design and maintain quality learning environments that support holistic child development
- Foster trusting and respectful relationships with children through curriculum and classroom activities
- Implement child protection measures and adhere to health, safety, nutritional, and hygiene standards and procedures
- Strengthen home-centre partnerships by maintaining open communication with parents and caregivers
- Co-lead collaborative projects with community stakeholders to enrich learning experiences
- Guide colleagues in continuous learning and reflective practice to promote professional growth
- Contribute actively to fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration within the centre
- Uphold and embody the Centre's Vision, Mission, and Values in all professional activities
- Use appropriate learning materials and resources to stimulate children's interest in learning
- Record and analyze children's learning and development to tailor teaching strategies effectively
- Collaborate with families to ensure continuity of care and learning between home and centre environments

Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field, or relevant teaching certification
Preferred competencies
- Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development
- Strong communication skills to maintain effective relationships with parents, colleagues, and supervisors
- Patience, flexibility, and passion for teaching young children
- Ability to choreograph dance activities to support children's physical and creative development
- Open-mindedness to embrace diverse teaching approaches and continuous improvement
